A Bit of Background

How We Got Started

I have had a love and passion for the Miniature Schnauzers for over 25 years, although my love of dogs stems back to early childhood, when my first experience was Rough Collies. I went on to breed and show successfully for many years with this beautiful breed.

In 1995 a friend introduced me to the Miniature Schnauzer; I was smitten from day one of meeting their dog and I purchased my first one not long after. From that day on, I have never been without a mini or 2 by my side.

It was always my intention to breed again, but life just got in the way.
However, in 2021, I decided it was the right time and Arnthorartus Miniature Schnauzers was born.

Guiding Philosophy

How We Do Things

At Arnthorartus Miniature Schnauzers, I am rigorous in finding the right homes and owners for my puppies. They are a lifelong commitment, and I intend to only find homes that are prepared to give the next 12 to 15 years to this special little breed.

I will require some background information, and an assurance of commitment before any viewings are confirmed.

I am happy to provide a lifetime of guidance and advise to all new owners.
